Project 2 Brainstorm

I don’t have a set plan for this project. I love blender and skinning and rigging, so I’m happy to do anything involving that stuff. I will say that I’m looking to expand my 3D portfolio for my graduate application. So, I’ll likely have a main focus on original, stylized models. I would’ve loved to use the grease pencil a bit more, considering it’s an easy and aesthetic way to stylize without spending hours messing with textures. I already have my mushroom done, so I might try to follow that trend with more fantasy-looking characters, or maybe a lily pad that grows out of a person’s head? I’d also like to have a model with a snake-like or simulation-like animation, like a leaf bending under its own weight or a cat’s tail moving in an S-curve.
Ideas
One of those big, fat cats on tiktok with the super cute round eyes
A low-poly model of Uncle Bao that sits on your head and maybe occasionally meows?
That little fox from The Little Prince?
Maybe some kind of fashion? Devil Wears Prada 2 is coming out soon? Could be interesting to get in on that hype in some way
Maybe some kind of weird “high-fashion” item? Like a snake as a scarf?
Maybe I can map human anatomy onto the face? Like the specific bones with their names for the skull? Or if I’m ambitious, the musculature
Maybe a donut for the spirit of Blender? #BlenderGuru
Or a car, because I have a model somewhere that I can definitely rig at some point to drive around someone’s head
